Sue Williamson's presentation at the 10th Havana Biennale in 2009, The Truth is on the Walls, followed the story of Naz Gool Ebrahim's forced removal from her home in District Six. For her series The Walls of Manley Villa, Williamson photographed the walls of each room in Ebrahim's home, which were covered in scrawlings of anguish and anger. A unique piece of photography that captures the tragedy of displacement.
